Redline

100% Drinking-Water Safe Pipe Repairs

Using a similar process as our Blueline pipe relining technology, Redline pipe liners are a 100% safe epoxy lining for drinking water, fire systems and pressure pipes from 12mm to 300mm. Using the latest in CCTV pipe inspections and high-pressure water jetting, our Redline qualified plumbers are able to locate pipe corrosion, poor pressure or pinhole water leaks and fix them without causing damage to your property. The process, designed to use the existing landing valves, hydrants and entry points, prevents future water leaks and protects your water supply from potentially harmful leads, asbestos and contaminates that could be leaching from your pipes.

What kind of pipes can be relined using Redline?

The simple and effective, cured in place process known as Redline, has been used in homes, high-rise apartments, factories, hospitals, fire suppression systems and within the industrial sector. It can be used on galvanised, copper, iron, steel, concrete fibreglass host pipes and water lines.

Redline can also be used in the following systems:

Air Systems

Fire Suppression Systems

Gas Systems

HVAC Systems

How we reline your pipes using the Redline process

We begin the Redline process by mapping the internal plumbing system of your property. Next we’ll implement a plan designed to minimise both disruption to your operations and to have the pipe relining process completed in the fastest time possible.

The piping system will then be inspected using our CCTV pipe camera to locate where the damage points are. We then pressure test to check for any pinhole leaks.

A safe abrading agent is then used to remove any rust, scaling or corrosion that has built up over time. High-volumes of heated air are applied, removing any fine particles and restoring the pipe to full working diameter, ready to be relined.

Following the cleaning a highly specialised epoxy resin is inserted into the pipe and inflated from the inside. Conditioned air is then introduced to the pipe ensuring the epoxy coating is evenly distributed throughout the pipe. Once completed your pipes are protected from corrosion and deterioration resulting in longer-lasting pipes.

What are the benefits of the Redline process?

As a new technology there are still many people who are unaware of the many benefits of Redline pipe relining. From health and environmental benefits to it’s quick installation and durability, pipe relining is the future of plumbing.

Below are just a few of the reasons pipe relining is the future of plumbing:

Safe and Durable: Patented by the U.S. Navy and been in use since the 1980s Redline has been used in government, domestic, industrial and commercial properties across the world. testing engineers estimate that the life expectancy of the epoxy resin is 100 years.

Minimal Downtime: A repiping job estimated at taking between six to eight weeks would take as little as four days to complete with Redline.

Cost Effective: The overall times saved by pipe relining results in an overall saving of over 50% less than traditional pipe replacement costs.

Minimal Disruption: The quick, quiet and non-invasive Redline process means there’s minimal need for any excavation of digging and no need to relocate residents or stop operations. When needed, a temporary bypass water system can be installed so there’s always water available even during repairs.

Versatility: Redline’s epoxy lining can be installed in any metal pipe in any building, structure, or environment. Our technicians have installed Redline epoxy in hospitals, large apartment buildings, restaurants, commercial centres, airports, schools and more.

Eco-friendly: Epoxy resin lining doesn’t generate waste for landfill or recycling and doesn’t create harmful carbon emissions during the manufacturing process. The Redline resin also prevents toxic heavy metals from seeping into drinking water and prevents leaks and breaks in pipe systems that contribute to water pollution and massive water pollution costs.
